These medical examinations are the best means of determining if someone is medically fit for the position and geographic location/s for which he/she is being recruited. A quality medical examination prior to job allocation helps to decrease the potential for future illnesses and accidents, thus reducing the company’s costs and liabilities in the long run.

STANDARD PRE-EMPLOYMENT MEDICAL EXAMINATION INCLUDES:

• Occupational health and medical history
• Comprehensive physical examination by a doctor (breast exams for females)
• Vaccination consultation and recommendations
• Blood Tests (Blood Count, H.pylori, Glucose, Cholesterol, Kidney function (Creatinine), Liver function (AST, ALT, protein), Hepatitis B and C, Syphilis, Blood group)
• Urinalysis
• Peak Flow Lung Test
• Chest X-Ray
• Vision Test
• Audiometric hearing test
• Body Mass Index
• Abdominal ultrasound
• Electrocardiogram (for those over 35)

ADDITIONAL TESTS AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST (The standard SOS Medica Mongolia fee schedule will apply to all additional or follow-up tests) Invasive procedures will not be carried out unless medically indicated.

• HIV Test with pre-test counseling (Note that we are legally obliged to inform health officials if a positive test occurs)
• Other ultrasound procedures when indicated
• Alcohol and Drug tests
